Outlier Detailing - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Outlier Detailing. By booking our mobile detailing services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure you understand your rights and obligations.
1. Booking and Appointments
- Scheduling: Appointments can be made through our website, phone, or email. A confirmation will be sent once your booking is complete.
- Rescheduling/Cancellations: Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for rescheduling or cancellations. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service price.
- Late Arrival: If you are not present at the scheduled time, our technician will wait up to 15 minutes. After this period, your appointment may be canceled, and a cancellation fee may apply.

2. Service Terms
- Access to Vehicle: The client must ensure the vehicle is accessible and that there is a safe, legal space for our technician to perform the detailing service.
- Condition of the Vehicle: We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the vehicle’s condition requires extra time, cleaning, or products beyond the service description (e.g., excessive pet hair, stains, or debris).
- Water and Electricity: Some of our technicians carry water and electricity, please inquire in advance if this service is required.
Service Inclusions: If you are booking, please know what is included in the service package. If you have any questions, please ask at the time of booking.
- Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, Outlier Detailing reserves the right to reschedule your appointment. We will notify you in advance and work with you to arrange a new time.

3. Payment Terms
Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon.
Deposits: A deposit may be required for certain services or for larger bookings, which will be applied to your final balance.
Late Payments: Any outstanding balances must be paid within 3 days of the service date. At 7 days, fees will start incurring.

4. Liability and Damage
Pre-Existing Damage: Outlier Detailing is not liable for any pre-existing damage to your vehicle. Our technician will conduct a pre-service inspection and may document any existing issues.

Damage During Service: We take great care in handling your vehicle. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our technician, you must notify us immediately, and we will assess and address the issue accordingly.

Belongings: Please remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before your appointment. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in the vehicle.

Insurance: Outlier Detailing carries insurance to protect both our technicians and your vehicle while service is being performed.

5. Guarantees and Warranties
Service Guarantee: We strive to provide high-quality detailing services. If you are not satisfied with the results, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will work with you to address any concerns.
Limitations:

Outlier Detailing is not responsible for issues beyond our control, such as previously damaged paint, rust, or defects in the vehicle’s surface.

Pre-existing stains that cannot be fully removed despite our best efforts.

Pay after your service is completed! Ask for any touch ups or additions before your technician leaves.

6. Service Modifications: Outlier Detailing reserves the right to change or update services and pricing without prior notice. However, any confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed-upon price.

Grandfathering Prices: For loyal customers, we will grandfather in the price you originally booked at, meaning future price increases will not affect you as long as you remain a recurring client.

Additional Charges: Any additional services requested during the appointment will be charged accordingly and must be approved by the client.

Credit Card Processing Fee: A 2.9% fee will be applied to all card transactions. To avoid this fee, you may choose to pay in cash at the time of service.

7. Privacy Policy
Data Collection: We collect basic information such as your name, contact details, and vehicle information to provide our services. This data is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.

Communication: By booking with us, you consent to receive communications regarding your appointment and future promotions from Outlier Detailing.

8. Health and Safety
Biological Hazards: Clients must inform us of any biological hazards such as vomit, feces, diseases, mildew, etc., at the time of booking or before the appointment so we can be best prepared. If not informed, we may charge an additional fee.

9. Subscription Plan Policy
Outlier Detailing offers a Monthly Subscription Plan that allows customers to receive a discount of 15-30% off their detailing services when they commit to recurring monthly cleanings.

Subscription Agreement: By opting for the subscription plan and receiving the discounted rate, you agree to have your vehicle cleaned at regular intervals as selected during the booking process.

Discount Application: The discount (15-30% off) is applied immediately to your current service in exchange for scheduling future recurring cleanings.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel the subscription plan before completing at least two cleanings under the agreement, Outlier Detailing reserves the right to charge the difference between the discounted rate and the original service price for the initial cleaning.

Example:
If your original service price is $200 and you receive a 30% discount, reducing the price to $140, but you cancel before your second cleaning, we will charge you the difference of $60.

Payment of Difference: Upon cancellation, the difference between the discounted price and the full price of the original service will be charged to the payment method on file.

By opting into the subscription plan, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.

10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of all states in which Outlier Detailing currently operates within the USA.

Outlier Detailing reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
